Deep Tissue Massage
50 minutes or 80 minutes
This treatment is recommended for those who regularly receive massages and who enjoy intense bodywork. Specialized, focused techniques reach deep muscle layers and address points of attachment as well as the belly of the muscles. Because these techniques tend to be slow and coordinated with deep breathing, just two or three areas can be thoroughly addressed in a 50-minute session.
Head, Neck & Shoulders
25 minutes
This concentrated massage employs a variety of techniques to release tension in the head, neck and shoulders. Not a full-body massage.
Reflexology
50 minutes
Every aspect of wellness is connected, from your head to your hard-working toes. This relaxing foot massage relieves tension, soothes your aches and puts the spring back in your step. Please wear light, loose-fitting clothing.
Lymphatic Massage
50 minutes or 80 minutes
The lymphatic system is responsible for immune system regulation and fluid & waste removal. By stimulating the lymph nodes through massage, it helps clear any blockages and gives the lymphatic system the boost it needs to keep it running healthy and strong! Lymphatic massage is an excellent treatment on its own or when used in combination with other massage techniques such as Deep Tissue or Swedish.
Reiki Massage
50 minutes
Based on the principles of chi, or universal life energy, Reiki promotes healing through methods rooted in spiritual tradition. The therapist’s hands are gently placed over your head, chest, abdomen and back, producing a calming and nurturing effect.
Swedish Massage
50 minutes or 80 minutes
Swedish massage is the most common massage. It promotes relaxation, improves circulation and relieves muscle pain. A Swedish massage uses long flowing strokes, circular pressure, kneading and percussion strokes.
Trigger Point Therapy
50 minutes
Trigger Points are tight fibers within your muscle tissue that usually refer pain elsewhere within the body. Trigger Points are usually caused by trauma or injury. They may lie dormant; but given the right stimulus they will activate. Trigger Point Massage interrupts the cycle of pain. Isolated pressure is held on a trigger point several times (for 8-10 seconds) during a session to break the cycle. This massage reduces pain and discomfort, while eliminating toxins from the tissues. |
