Front Office Medical Assistant
Responsible for procedures for center; greets and screens all patients, visitors, and phone calls to appropriate staff member. Sets up and maintains patient charts. Responsible for accomplishing identified shift specific tasks. Assists other front office staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; Certified Medical Assistant and AA degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one-year experience in an office environment, hospital, clinic or medical office preferred.
  • Successful completion of an approved course of training for medical office personnel preferred with skill in venipuncture.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, staff, physicians, patients and guests.
  • Excellent computer skills a must.
  • Knowledge of NexTech Software preferred.

Traditional Chinese Medical (TCM) Practitioner/Acupuncturist
Perform independently & in collaboration with other TCMDs and medical doctors to determine & meet individual patient needs.  Organizes time, supplies, equipment & staff efficiently & effectively.  Promotes TCM to community through advertising, lectures, and promotional venues.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two (2) years Chinese Medicine experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with individuals and groups.
  • Certification in Acupuncture.
  • Knowledge of NexTech Software preferred.
  • Basic office equipment knowledge and computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Central Business Office Account Representative (Certified Coder)
Participate in activities that lead toward the established goals of the Central Billing Office.  Promote a cooperative environment for other personnel.  Follow common safety guidelines to promote a safe work environment.  Maintain the strictest of confidentiality of patient’s medical condition, medical records and other personal information.  Assists during staffing shortages by performing additional duties or working overtime as necessary.  Abides by organizational policies and procedures.  Adheres to established productivity and quality control standards.

Qualifications:

  • Charge entry using CPT and ICD-9 coding
  • Identify unacceptable charges and reroute for research
  • Process collection letters and perform telephone campaign
  • Process appropriate account balance adjustments, write-offs, and referrals for resubmit
  • Handle daily patient correspondence and request for information
  • Establish & monitor payment plans
  • Act as Liaison with outside collection agent
  • Daily management of insurance aging reports
  • Process all insurance claim denials and appeals
  • Process claim adjustments, write-offs, and resubmits
  • Handle daily correspondence and request for information from insurance carriers
  • Insurance and patient payment posting and batch balancing
  • Post-contractual adjustments and approved write-offs, and balance transfers
  • Post deductibles, co-payments and zero payment
  • Process refund requests for identified overpayments
  • Manage Insurance and patient credit balance report
  • Daily EDI transmission and retrieval of electronic claims & rebills
  • Daily printing of HCFA 1500 & UB92 from queue
  • Correct all pre-bill and transmission edit errors & re-submit
  • Match secondary EOB and Workman’s Compensation Notes to current claim drop

Part-Time Medical Esthetician
To provide quality and safe medical skin care, massage therapy, lipo massage, and other services to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited school of Esthetics.
  • Current Georgia license to practice as an Esthetician.
  • Three years of experience, preferably at a Plastic Surgeon or Dermatologist’s office.
  • Endermologie training through approved course preferred.
  • Perfector and Magnum Ion training through approved course preferred.
  • Excellent communications and verbal skills, ability to prioritize and interact effectively with all levels of management, staff, physicians, patients, and guest.
  • Excellent computer skills a must.
  • Knowledge of NexTech software preferred.

Full-Time and Part-Time Surgery Technician
Primary responsibilities include providing direct patient care, planning and organization of the delivery of patient care in the operating room & following OSHA & HIPPA guidelines in executing job responsibilities. Additional duties within office as needed to include, but are not limited to venipuncture, footbaths, assist with PT instruments/laundry, visual contrast sensitivity testing.

Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; AA degree preferred.
    • Minimum of three years related experience preferred.
    • Prior training as a Scrub Tech, certification preferred.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of scrub tech theories and practice related to the operating room.
    • Current BLS certification.
    • Excellent communication skills, ability to prioritize and interact effectively with all levels of management, staff, physicians, and patients.
    • Excellent computer skills a must.
    • Self-starter with the ability to work without supervision.

Part Time Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or Physical Therapist
Access to clinical information as it relates to providing physical therapy services, which includes assessment and charting requirements. Access to billing information as it relates to precertification of procedures for physical therapy and facilitating communication between patient and business office for financial concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Current license as a physical therapist, licensed in Georgia.
  • Current certification in BLS.
  • Certificate, B.S. or M.S. from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Hand therapy and outpatient physical therapy experience.
